South Florida Lady Jaguars Basketball Coach, Billy Carson

The South Florida Lady Jaguars Basketball Teams do not play above the rim on the court, but in the game of life they are flying high on the wings of hope, faith and self esteem. The teams are comprised of young ladies from age 8 to 17. Players of various skill levels come together and learn how to combat life’s obstacles by following the bouncing ball as it dances across words such as Love, Integrity, and Scholarship.

Coach Billy Carson takes these young women and gives them an opportunity to be a part of something that is bigger than any one individual. No one is cut from the team, and though they may not play as much as some of the more skilled players, they’re still an integral piece in the puzzle and the picture isn’t complete without them. What a blessing to be able to give someone such a marvelous gift; the knowledge that they matter.
