To the Cyber Attacker of today, anything and everything out there is a prime target.  This includes objects in both the virtual and the physical world.  In terms of the former, some of the most prized possessions are that of software applications, databases, servers, wireless devices, etc. 

With the latter, there is now increasing trend to launch attacks against critical metropolitan infrastructure in order to create utter mayhem and confusion.

The types of attacks can vary, ranging from Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks to Business Email Compromise to Ransomware.
