John O' Donovan may be better known for being an original member of the influential OC punk band The Adolescents in the 80's, but I know him best as Jay O' Clownovan of the Yeastie Boys.

A band that started as a joke, but this punk band / circus sideshow has really been hitting the big top in the past years, gaining legitimate success as a band and a huge following.

It's no surprise really. They are less of a band, and more an experience, as their shows are the closest thing you can get to a circus without the animal abuse.

Yeastie Boys put on a great stage performance, as they god- dammed well should. To make a Yeastie Boys, you just slap together musicians from the influential punk bands of yesteryear and viola! Clown Punk.
