The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACSCAN) is a sister organization to the American Cancer Society. Its primary goal is to advocate for issues relating to patients with cancer.

The organization is a membership organization, asking individuals and groups to support legislation that will make a positive impact on those traveling through cancer. They meet with Congressional members to push for national changes... as well as state legislators to improve medical care at the state level... insurance changes... and so much more.

Check their website for membership details and legislative initiatives.  www.acscan.org
