Georgia Wolfe is an advocate for domestic violence, and the founder of Greener Pastures Now, a non-profit organization established in Atlanta, Georgia, whose mission is to help victims of domestic violence transition into survivors. Ms. Wolfe is also the author of the childrens book, "I Forgive you Daddy; I Love you Anyway". Ms. Wolfe was born in Jamaica, W.I. and migrated to the United States at the tender age of eleven. Ms. Wolfe’s inspiration to write this story was birthed out of her own experience with domestic violence, and being abandoned by her mother as a toddler, together with her unsuccessful attempt to locate children friendly literary works to reinforce the positive and Godly advice she continuously provides to her daughter in response to her concerns on the whereabouts of her father. Through her determination, vision, and passion, she is determined to transform her past negative experiences into fruits of the spirit: Love, Peace, and Joy, with hopes that sharing her story will inspire others to embrace forgiveness and love, which ultimately leads to peace and joy. In her works, Ms. Wolfe wants all parents/guardians to know that it is imperative to sheathe in love the conversations with your child about the missing parent, with the focus on building and maintaining your child’s self-esteem and keeping God at the center of your lives. Ms. Wolfe currently resides with her daughter in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. Host: Sharon R. Wells, Co-Host: Nanette Buchanan, Chat Room Host: Myrna Lyle
