Born in the city of Puerto Cabello, Venezuela, Nelson grew up in Barquisimeto and Caracas. A European descendant, Nelson's mother is German, his father Venezuelan, and his grand parents are Ukrainian, Italian, Polish and Spanish. Since he was a kid, Nelson knew that his two passions to pursue were Baseball and the world of entertainment.
