Surely you see the damage done by Addiction, whether is be drugs or alcohol, sex or violence, or over-eating. Addiction is a MONSTER that is conquering when it needs to be conquered. What "message" is the Church sending? Is the Church open and reeption to assist or Holier Than Thou and rejecting those in need of rescue from their downward spiral? God saves, but the Church should be available ---- on stand-by with the lifevest or raft to keep them afloat and to reel them into safety.

IS THIS BEING DONE!? Can the Church do more? Addicts have strong demons that they wrestle with. Inevitabley, in order to live, they must be saved from themselves. Many times others get the blame (spouses, friends, etc.), but addicts really need to be saved from themselves.

If the Church would bring the right "message"; visual, emotional, and spiritual perhaps it would make a greater impact.
