In tribute to Andy's Brother who recently passed away, Professor William Kimbel of  Arizona State University and former Director of the Institute of Human Origins, we're beginning a very special series of shows that will series explore the evolution of our species.

We don’t know everything about our early ancestors—but we keep learning more! Paleoanthropologists are constantly in the field, excavating new areas, using groundbreaking technology, and continually filling in some of the gaps in our understanding of human evolution.

These special shows will be interspersed within our regular broadcasts and will feature interviews with noted authors, scientists, professors, and other experts within the fields of Anthropology, Paleontology, and Evolutionary Biology.

In this first show, We'll hear William Kimbel address a conference sponsored by CARTA - Origins of Genus Homo followed by a webcast of Boston Universities Dialogues in Biological Anthropology.  Although there is a visual presentation that accompanies both of these, the discussions are very informative and fascinating.

Some of these special episodes will be interspersed within our regular live broadcasts. ,  a few shows will be pre-recorded, and others will be presented live. Tune and as we begin to explore the human career and discuss why it is so imperative that we connect the human past with our global future.
