This is I.T. (Inconvenient Truth) – Effects of a Witch Hunt- Internet Regret

Everyone in the pain community can agree that many find it difficult to fight for awareness when there is a witch hunt against the pain community when it comes to pain. What saddens me is that so many fight against those outside of the pain community when it comes to prescription drugs but fail to see they also take part in which hunts when they feel others may not actually have the illness as others or what many may call being fake. Sharing social media posts calling someone else a fake sounds familiar in how the CDC and government officials have made blanket statements about those in the pain community. I know from being an admin of different support groups that many use false names or profiles because they do not want their family, friends, or work to know about their illness. We all have choices on how we share information, accept information, etc there is a risk associated with everything we do in life.
