This is I.T. (Inconvenient Truth)!! – Planning for Your Care
I was asked recently about how or who would take care of me if something happened to where I needed to be cared for because of my illness or if my current support system was no longer able to help care for me. Do you have a plan in place to help with your care or who would care for you if something drastic were to happen? Do you have a living will? Do you have a “DNR (Do Not Resuscitate)” in place if your family or support system had to make a decision on whether to keep you alive or let you pass away? Have you talked with family or caretaker about what steps needs to be taken to ensure your wishes are met encase you are unable to make that decision? Do you have a family attorney or caseworker to help your family sort through the options about planning for you care? Call in we want to hear your thoughts on the subject.
