Many people take the position that the Last Days begin when either the False Prophet Appears or when Jesus returns.  The Last Days started at the Day of Attornment, 50 days after Pass Over. This is what we call Death-Resurrection and the Day of Pentecost.  This is supported by Acts Chapter 2 when Peter referred of Joel Chapter 2-28.  What was Peter really referring to in Joel?  Wasn’t Joel referring to great manifestations of the power of God in the preparation of the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord known as the Coming of the Messiah, Christ, the Rapture, the Advent?  Being filled with the Holy Ghost as described by Joel in Chapter 2 is the preparation of the Great Day of the Lord.  We cannot be the remnant useless we are filled with the Holy Ghost to bring the return of Christ and the Great Day of the Lord.  The Lord needs His people to fulfill the Scripture of the Kingdom.  And God’s people need the Holy Ghost to fulfill God’s will.
