By the Holy Spirit 3

Jesus went to the Father after He was resurrected.  Jesus promised that He would not leave us or forsake us.  We are born of God and Jesus sent the Holy Spirit who is the Helper.  He helps us come to God. He leads us to God by drawing us near to Him. The Holy Spirit convicts so we repent and turn from our wicked ways because of our knowledge of God.  It is the coming to know God that we learn we need to be more like Him.  We can be more like God only by the Holy Spirit who helps us become more like God’s character.  It is by the knowledge of God that we understand God’s will and purpose in righteousness, that brings us into the fear of God by the Holy Spirit known as the Spirit of the Lord.
