Has the time come to amend the U.S. Constitution?   Answer: YES!

Lessons Learned: We the People have witnessed the corruption and abuse of power by those in public office.  This fact has led to many of the problems our country faces today. We the People are the "governed".  We the People are the owners of  this government. We the People must assumer esponsibility for the State of our Union in 2020.

Proposed Amendments:

  • Public Office Term Limits: Thomas Jefferson fought for term limits and he was right.
  • Supreme Court Term Limits: 8 or 12 year appointments.
  • Election Protection: Government Id required. Early election limited to 48 hours. Open Primaries  Private Entities (I.E.Political Parties) must not control the public election. Political Action Committees (PAC) must provide full detailed disclosure on funding. Corporations must not be allowed to influence elections (reverse "Citizens United")
  • Freedom of Speech
  • Privacy Rights
  • Public Service Ethics & Accountability: Those elected to public office must be held accountable for their failure to uphold our Constitution and follow the laws. They will be charged with TREASON!  If convicted, the people have the right to sue.
  • Public Service Compensation: The governed/the people must approve pay raises for the elected. No special compensation or security for elected public servants. The elected will be treated the same all citizens of the United States of America.
  • Civil Union:  Union between two consenting adults.
