Sharon Gannon is a 21st century Renaissance woman who excels in many spiritual, artistic, and social mediums. She is a legend in the yoga and vegan worlds and is best known for creating, along with David Life, Jivamukti Yoga - a path to enlightenment through compassion for all beings. Her New York City Jivamukti studio has inspired thousands around the globe – leading to over 30 centers, affiliates and a community dedicated to compassionate living.
Sharon is a pioneer in teaching yoga as spiritual activism and is credited for making yoga cool - relating ancient teachings of yoga to the modern world.
