Habitual Runaways, what are we missing?

Are we seeing a rise in teenage runaways? Or is soical media making us more aware of it? Either way when i start seeing the same face over and over again to me we can drop the caption ''missing"  and replace it with, ''Gone" but whatever the case may be what is it we're missing? Are the repeat runaways running from something in the home or running to something or someone in the street?
