Marissa Alexander: the color of injustice

Marissa Alexander was convicted of aggravated assault for firing a warning shot into the air during a confrontation with her abusive husband who was trying to strangler her. This mother of there who did not have a police record was arrested and convicted and it only took a jury twelve minutes to find her guilty and it would be a conviction that would sperate her from society ,family and her kids for 20 years. Was Marissa Alexander now a victim twice, once by her husband and now by the state of Florida?
