10 Things Teachers Want Parents to Know

As teachers, Tiffany Andrews and Becky Saarela, the mother-daughter team, asked other teachers from across the country one simple question: “If you could tell parents one thing that would help their child succeed in school, what would it be?” After spending two years gathering responses to this question, they spent the next year or so composing all the replies, along with their own experience, in a book titled “Sincerely, the Teacher: The Top 10 Things Teachers Want Parents to Know.” The book is a collection of letters, stories, and advice from the authors, as well as teachers from around the nation. Every parent or person raising children must listen to this show to hear, firsthand, how you can help your child succeed in school.
