Louisiana is the pioneer of the "Blue Lives Matter Bill" and many states are closely following suit. Could this be passed nationally? Delving into a deep discussion on our current criminal justice system, we would be remiss if we only talk about reform not highlight the specific issues we currently face. Things such as bad performance police officers not losing thier jobs, 24 year prison sentences for a wrongful conviction, etc. And in the same token, how can we support police officers wo actually do the right thing and receive punishment for it? A Black Federal prosecutor was found dead recently. This was followed by 2 Black judges who were also found dead. Is an investigation needed here? Highlighted story of the day: a 6 year old created a coloring book series to tell the story of Black history to include the time before slavery.
