They're Just Getting Started - "We Have to Stop Now" Stars Jill Bennett, Cathy DeBuono & Ann Noble

Having spent the past month discussing two of the biggest fandoms in popular literature, F4F Radio changes gears in February and March by returning to the theme of webseries. We kick off the month with an extra-special segment on one of the most successful webseries in the lesbian online community, "We Have to Stop Now". A look at two therapists and marriage experts who have managed to damage their own relationship almost beyond repair, WHTSN debuted in February 2009 and was an instant hit, helped in part by its considerable star power. Lead actresses Jill Bennett and Cathy DeBuono were already well-known from films like "Out at the Wedding" and "And Then Came Lola", while costar Suzanne Westenhoefer made history as the first openly lesbian stand-up comedian to perform on television. Of course, no amount of famous faces would have made Season Two possible in 2010 if it wasn't for the great writing by creator and costar Ann Noble. And F4F Radio was lucky enough to get Ann, Jill, AND Cathy to agree to sit for an interview. We'll talk about their experiences making WHTSN, as well as some of their other best work, and the current state of lesbian-oriented filmmaking on both the Internet and the big screen. And we'll be joined by my cohost Della Street, who was herself a guest in 2010 to discuss her writing in fandoms like "Xena: Warrior Princess" and "Facts of Life".
