This week on Alchemist Radio we usher in a whole new era.& welcome weekly contributor Reed Kuhn aka The Fight Scientist to sit opposite Bryan Levick this week.

Resurrection Fighting Alliance has not only been putting on entertaining shows they have been helping many fighters achieve their dreams of reaching the UFC. RFA has become the de facto feeder system for the UFC & in doing so have been able to sign the top, fighters available. Case in point would be welterweight Brandon “Rukus” Thatch who just made his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night: Condit vs. Kampmann and scored a first round TKO over Justin Edwards. The knockout not only earned him a lot of attention, & also put an extra $50k in his bank account. Thatch will now face Paulo Thiago at UFC Fight Night 32 in November.

Keeping with the RFA theme we will talk to one of their top prospects Luis Saldana who will face UFC veteran Justin Lawrence in the co-main event. Saldana is 7-1 and has won his last three bouts all by submission. In fact he has finished all 7 of his victories with four coming in the first round.

Firas Zahabi is without a doubt one of the top coaches in all of MMA. This Saturday Zahabi will be at Air Canada Centre in Toronto for UFC 165 with four of his fighters. Mike Ricci will face the undefeated Myles Jury in the main event of the preliminary card on Fox Sports 1. Francis Carmont will face Costa Philippou, Ivan Menjivar will battle Wilson Reis and John Makdessi  takes on Renee Forte. Then in November at UFC 167 he will be in the corner of GSP as he defends his title against Johny Hendricks and MacDonald who faces Robbie Lawler. As the saying goes, there is no rest for the weary!

Sons of Anarchy is one of the most popular shows on television. Natalie Skyy has been cast on the show on a few episodes and has developed quite a following. She has been a ring card girl Strikeforce, Fight Night at the Tank & Shark Fights.
