Automotive Journalist ALAN GELL was among 40-something media types who attended, judged, and voted at the 2013 Texas Truck Rodeo.  One vehicle that caught his eye was the 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander.  He interviewed SOPHIA KO, an Account Representative with Mitsubishi's PR agency.

The Mitsubishi Outlander competed in the MID-SIZE crossover CUV category against the Hyundai Santa Fe, Chevrolet Equinox, and Kia Sorento.  The Santa Fe won the category award.

The Truck Rodeo test drive vehicle was a dark color called Labrado Black Pearl, listed as a 4 door SUV and powered by a 2.4 liter engine, matched with a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), SE trim level, and full-time All Wheel Drive.

In addition to all the standard items, it was equipped with the SE Touring Package that added a powered sunroof, Fosgate Radio sound system, navigation, power remote tailgate, and a whole lot more.

Bottom sticker price with all options and delivery charges was $32,720.  It was EPA mileage rated at 26 mpg average.
