We all have stories to tell about ourselves.  When we go through the process of self-acceptance, we learn to love ourselves completely – to love both the good things and the not so good things.  Host Kita Szpak will interview Michael Lifshitz who is a great example of a person, who by having accepted his life and its circumstances totally, has learned to love himself.  The good news is we can all change our story from one of misfortune and sadness to happiness and self-fulfillment – to be the hero instead of the victim.

Born and raised in Montreal, now calling Ottawa home, Motivational Speaker and Comedian Michael Lifshitz knows all about overcoming challenges.  Born with a condition called Multiple Congenital Musculoskeletal Abnormalities, Michael has never let his disability stand in the way of accomplishing his goals.  He became a Chartered Public Accountant and obtained his MBA from Edinburgh Business School.  Michael has built and sold successful accounting and financial planning practices, as well as spoken at various events across Canada, including a TedX conference.  Michael’s first book, Mission Unstoppable, a collaboration with Les Brown, Dr. George Fraser and 35 other inspiring leaders which will be out this fall. It has already reached Best Seller status on Amazon in multiple categories.  Michael is also planning to release a book for parents of children with disabilities called Sure I Can – Living and Succeeding with a Disability, a compilation of articles Michael wrote for Exceptional Family Magazine.  Through his speaking, comedy and writing, Michael shares his experiences of overcoming the challenges posed by his disability to inspire others to overcome their own challenges, because as Michael says: "We all face challenges in life, mine just get me better parking spots!!
