Artist Spotlight Segment

This artist spotlight segment will highlight a phenomenal R&B vocalist and song writing talent out of Harrisburg, PA the one and only Dexter Kendrick! Dexter has an extraordinary experimental sound that has been creating a strong buzz from his hometown in PA to Connecticut to NYC, where he recently landed a gig at Ashford & Simpson’s Sugar Bar, opening for Jazz Saxophonist Curtis Haywood! It was here that I was blessed with the opportunity to hear this amazingly gifted Singer do his thing on stage with the well polished composure of a seasoned veteran! This talented vocalist/song writer started his singing career as a member of Voices of Unity in Steelton, PA and in 2002 he released his debut album Saturn’s Moon presents…Janus! Then just last year in March of 08 he came back with his 2nd release, Legacy! I’m sure after you get a chance to hear about some of the smooth melodies and heartfelt emotion on these projects, you’ll agree that Dexter Kendrick is creating an impressive musical legacy that will be around for years to come!
