Michelangelo’s Pieta is as alive today as it was 513 years ago. Every crease, every cord, every vein, every sinew in the figures were molded with such precision that it appears as if Mary’s blood still courses hotly there while facing her beloved, Jesus. Pieta, David and the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel are just a few of the masterpieces that Michelangelo contributed to the world of the Arts.
