The William Kreidler Award is presented to the most distinguished practitioners in the field of Conflict Resolution. The 2017 awardees are Professor Joseph Folger and Professor Robert A. Baruch Bush.
Professor Folger joins us in this interview.
Joseph Folger is a Professor of Adult and Organizational Development at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA and the current chair of the Department of Policy, Organization, and Leadership Studies. He teaches courses in conflict theory, third-party conflict intervention and group decision-making.
Folger is a co-founder and current President of the Institute for the Study of Conflict Transformation and is a consultant to mediation programs globally. His books include the award-winning volume The Promise of Mediation (1994, 2005) as well as Working Through Conflict: Strategies for Relationships, Groups, and Organizations (8th edition, 2017), and Transformative Mediation: A Sourcebook (2010).
