Kendall Wright is a Senior at East Forsyth High School and member of the Varsity Soccer Team. It was 13 years ago at age 4 that Kendall embarked upon this venture through a recreational soccer program where he lives. Immediately Kendall developed a burning passion and love for the sport. Recreational soccer occupied Kendall until he was 8 years old.

It was at that time that Kendall decided to play club soccer for PTFC (Piedmont Triad Futball Club) where he's been playing ever since. Upon entering high school as a freshman, Kendall tried out for the (JV) Junior Varsity team and was selected as one of it's players. Playing on JV for his freshman and sophomore year, Kendall was a recipient of the Coach Award given to the hardest working player. The hard work would soon pay off as he was selected to play on the Varsity team his Junior and Senior year.

At East Forsyth, Kendall excels academically. He's been involved in Crosby Scholars, Kenersville Connections, Rotary Leadership Academy, and Finance Academy. Kendall also serves as a member of Christ Moravian Church where he's active in his youth group. I was able to cover Kendall at the Forsyth Cup at West Forsyth High School.

Although his team fell short, Kendall played hard every second of every minute. Kendall showed competitive greatness, simply defined as being at your best when your best is needed. When he wasn't in the game, Kendall continuously yelled and cheered his teammates on. Kendall has taken time out of busy schedule to talk to me about all of this and expectations and goals that he has for himself and his team moving forward on my live podcast Sunday, August 20th at 8:00pm

This will be a live podcast, however all shows are archived, if you can't listen live, you can go back and listen to it at a later date.
