HANDCUFFS OFF EPISODE 8 - GEORGE VILLANUEVA
Rise Uniting People for Progress presents "Handcuffs Off", hosted by Jihad Siddiq, featuring segments by Marcellus Morris, Chenequa Rogers and Toni Brown.

Jihad Siddiq did 28 years in prison for murder before changing his life and becoming a productive, law abiding citizen, a mentor, youth advocate, Projects Manager for the Rise UP organization.

Todays interview is with George Villanueva fondly known as Pep by long-time friends and his family. George had been incarcerated for over 30 years, he tells of the road, challenges and struggles that led to his incarceration and the influence of his Mother that has kept him alive, thriving, and helped guide him to a purpose-driven spiritual based life and how he works to change the lives of young Men. Trying to keep them from making the mistakes he did.

Handcuffs Off is raw, riveting and honest.
It doesn't glorify or sensationalize incarceration, Jihad will be speaking candidly with folks who served over two decades in prison and have honest conversations on the effect of long term incarceration and how we can help folks avoid the trap of cycling in and out of the justice system.

If you want to know the truth, the secrets of navigating the criminal justice system and hear exclusive interviews of people who have beat the odds and are out in society helping to make a difference, listen to Handcuffs Off.
