The Pulitzer Prizes, named after publisher Joseph Pulitzer and administered by Columbia University in New York City, is considered one of the highest achievements in journalism, literature, drama and music. The 2010 Pulitzer Prize winners and nominated finalists in all categories will be announced on April 12, 2010, at 3 p.m. Eastern daylight time.
