Interview With Cal Thomas and Clay Risen

Cal Thomas is one of the country's most popular syndicated columnist, with his column just celebrating its 30th anniversary. He also writes the Common Ground column with Fox’s Bob Beckel.  He is a frequent contributor to Fox News and is the author of numerous books. His latest book is titled What Works: Common Sense Solutions for a Stronger America. 

Clay Risen is an editor of the New York Times op-ed section and the founding manager of the noted quarterly Democracy: A Journal of Ideas. His recent freelance work has appeared in such journals as the Atlantic, Smithsonian, and the Washington Post. His first book was the acclaimed A Nation of  Fire: America in the Wake of the King Assassination. His latest book is titled The Bill of the Century: The Epic Battle for The Civil Rights Act.
