US Navy SEAL Team 3 Chief Chris Kyle served four combat tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom and elsewhere. For his bravery in battle, he was awarded two Silver Stars, five Bronze Stars with Valor, two Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medals, & one Navy & Marine Corps Commendation.  Following his combat deployments, he became chief instructor for training Naval Special Warfare Sniper & Counter-Sniper teams, & authored the Naval Special Warfare Sniper Doctrine, the first Navy SEAL sniper manual. He is president of Craft International, a world-class leader in training & security. He lives with his family in Texas, where he devotes much of his spare time to helping disabled veterans. He joins us to discuss his book, American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History.


Jim DeMint  is a United States Senator from South Carolina, serving since 2005. He is a member of the Republican Party and a leading member in the Tea Party movement. He was recently ranked as the Senate’s most conservative member by National Journal and as the No. 1 senator voting for responsible tax and spending policies by the National Taxpayers Union. He previously served as the United States Representative for South Carolina 1999 to 2005.  DeMint is the author of Saving Freedom, The Great American Awakening, and his latest book, Now or Never.  The senator and his wife, Debbie, reside in Greenville, South Carolina and are the proud parents of four married children & are doting grandparents.
