Wednesday – September 21, 2016 at 3:00 pm Tech Talk TECH-TALK with Kingsley Meyer, Mike Thompson and Duane Rigsby discuss how to maximize new technology in an educational environment.  Discussions surround virtual digital currency such as ‘What is BitCoin, PayPal and other such on-line currencies?”  Other topics include the  persistent threats of Ransomware, phishing and the strong uptick on IOT hacks and the fact that no digital lock is safe!  Other technical discussions include the Three KREB’s Rules for Staying Safe Online: #1 “If you didn’t go looking for it, don’t install it!”   #2 “If you installed it, update it.”   #3 “If you no longer need it, remove it.”
