Singer Songwriter in Soul Music with Anissa Hampton

Anissa began singing at the tender age of 3 in Chicago, IL. which started the beginning of her musical career. Now residing in Jackson, MS, Anissa is traveling her musical journey with more to bring. 

Anissa has sang behind some of the greatest such as Brian McKnight, Musiq Soulchild, Willie Clayton and Calvin Richardson just to name a few. 

Her lustrous voice opened the avenue to travel the world to perform in Australia, Spain and Germany.  While still performing locally and regionally, she has time is to teach and mentor young inspiring entertainers how to master their own gifts as well as teaching them origin of genres in blues.

Anissa continuously strives for excellence with her performances and the ability to take her audience on an exciting musical voyage with her style of the blues.  Although she can sing many genres of music, she says she can’t deny where her heart really is and that’s truly with the blues.
