Aria began singing gospel in her father's church as a child. Music reviewers and fans call singer/songwriter Aria Elan's vocals: "Smooth as silk," "Soulful; emotional; jazzy" and "passionate."  Aria's critically acclaimed debut album “Smile” was released on November 1, 2013 on Aria’s independent record label, SiSi Records.  Her new social justice album “Hotter” dropped November 16, 2018. Original songs range from the pop anthem “America is already great” to bittersweet soulful, spiritual ballads “No Homelessness” and “Earth Aina.” Powerful offerings like “Reparations” (set to a hip hop beat) and "Ay Yi Yi" (Afro Cuban music played by world class musicians) offer an eclectic look into Aria’s heart, mind & soul.

Aria’s action videos for “Reparations” and “Ay Yi Yi” will premiere in January 2019 live on YouTube. Aria’s environmental song "Free Mama Earth" on the “Hotter” album features Grammy award winner Mamadou Diabate. Her title song “Hotter” is a plea for peace. “Listen big brother; all we have is each other. Violence must cease. Increase the peace! Lost our sister; Lord, how I miss her. Faith thru the pain; one day peace will reign…” “Hotter Reggae” is an uptempo remix that makes you jump to your feet and start dancing.
