A music Journey with Recording Artist/Entertainer DaVenus Etienne

Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, DaVenus Etienne made her songwriting debut at the age of 10 while living in Haw- Thorne, California with her family. Later she returned to Louisiana and entered many talent shows and performed with her. 

DaVenus, began being called‘Louisiana's Love Child’ and later, the‘Princess of Southern Soul’, as she began performing with local bands.

She made her debut as an independent artist in May 2015 with the release of her single, “Bye Bye Baby” produced by Charles Gordon. “Bye Bye Baby” was also featured as part of the movie soundtrack, “My Side Piece" starring Big Pokey Bear Brown, Mystikal and other Louisiana artists. Later in April 2016, she released another single entitled "I Wanna Luv U", showing herself as a force to be reckoned with as a new versatile breakout artist, and carved her place in the Urban Soul / Southern Soul genre. In 2017 she completed her debut CD compilation entitled "Come Here", released in early May 2018. Her first single from that debut CD, “Hard To Forget", hit the online stores across the Southern United States.

The diversity of this artist is evident in her debut CD, having multiple producers, including Tyree Neal of Louisiana's Legendary Neal Family. The much anticipated release of her debut CD hits her Blues and Southern Soul fans head on, and track after hard-hitting Southern Soul, Blues & Zydeco track, will not disappoint her fan base.
