Kizzy’s musical background dates back to her memorable experiences and upbringing in church as a little girl. It would be her participation in the youth choir that played a role in the development of having such a powerful and soulful sound that warrants the attention of her audience. Such power, as told, has been healing to many, Inspiring to others and uplifting to a lot of broken hearts.

In being an inspiration; she too has been inspired by many legends such as Whitney Houston, Mahalia Jackson , Celine Dion, and the list goes on. They are icons that Kizzy says she has taken notice of and notes from for a long time.

This multifaceted beauty has been afforded the opportunity to sing and or compete at a number of venues, from present to past. She auditioned among many and landed a singing and acting roll in the stage play, “My Brother Marvin,” that was on tour for several months. Kizzy was elated to play the roll of Tina Turner. She has won 1st place for outstanding vocal ability in talent shows, she has performed at the worlds famous B.B. Kings House of Blues, she has been able to compete at the world renowned Showtime in Harlem formerly known as Showtime at the Apollo, she has opened up for the R&B Singer Trey Songz, and has been a part of a number of other shows throughout her career. Kizzy is not only a singer, but a songwriter, and actress as well. She not only writes music material for herself, but has written for other singers too.Her name alone symbolizes a foundation of strong roots. Roots that has kept her anchored and grounded throughout her life. This Pine Bluff, Arkansas native embraced at a very early age gifts and talents that would excel far beyond.
