24hrMom Presents Cafe Convo w/ Dr. Elisa English

Celebrating two years of  The 24hrMom Show...  Join us for Cafe Conversations as we openly discuss why mental illness is such a stigma in the black community. We'll talk with Dr. Elisa English dubbed the celebrity clinician. Dr. English has a Master's degree in Social Work from Columbia University and a PhD in Clinical Social Work with a focus on research, policy and administration from Yeshiva University. In her unique practice she uses physical activity that involves sensual movements to arouse confidence incorporating Pilates, Yoga,  Calisthenics, Belly-dancing and even Pole Dancing to provoke self-esteem within women”. Her new approach may just be exactly what we need to get us moving in the right direction where mental health is concerned.
