We kick of election year with a candidate for Comal County Sherrif. James R. (Rick) Walker, Ph.D., a veteran law enforcement officer and Master Texas Peace Officer, announced his candidacy for the position of Comal County Sheriff. The candidate has been a dedicated and successful law enforcement professional for nearly 40 years, serving in a variety of law enforcement positions including patrolman, investigator, and supervisor with police departments in South Carolina and Texas.
