Music Discussion Part II: Seattle and it's relevance to the rap scene

•  Why is Seattle (for the most part) overlooked when it comes to the rap game? Did Sir-Mix-A-Lot's success either help or hurt us in terms of what people expect from Seattle?

• Why is it so hard for Seattle rappers to really make an impact on anyone outside of Seattle?

• Who are some overlooked or otherwise, unknown rappers that we should be checking for? Any resources/advice for anyone trying to get in the game?

 

Ask S: various listeners want to pick S100's brain. None of us are sure why. Listen at your own risk as he addresses these questions:

•  A female caller is in a strictly sexual relationship, wants more, but doesn't know how to ask. The dude has shown a little bit of interest in her personal life/family and she's using that alone as a reason for why he MIGHT be interested.

• If you're not married, are you single? If a person does not have a ring, but currently involved with someone, should you still pursue them?
