What happened to Travon Martin is not an isolated incident. It is something that happens all to often to young Black males. What happened to Travon could happen to you or to your child, by those who see hate first and not individuals. As a retired Chief of Detectives in Washington, D.C., I know first hand what a death investigation looks like, and the one conducted in Travon's case, was not one.  This is what happens when you speculate instead of investigate situations.
