Often I am contacted by a parent or family member kept from their child. Parental & Family Alienation is a psychological abuse which erases, or attempts to erase, the DNA that is very much your child. You will never be able to control their lives and their longing for their parent. In truth, as they grow up you will be the one they end up despising for your actions. We are also discussing another issue which is becoming more of a plague, CPS & FAMILY COURT. There are really great social service workers out there who are doing their job. There are also those who are burnt out by the trauma they see children go through and rush to judgement rather than keeping a child at home or with other family while figuring out what the child needs and wants, what the family needs to reunite and become healthy together. We all need to remember the ages old saying; 'It takes a village to raise a child'.
