Welcome back to part 17 of our bible study on Paul. We would recommend that when we are done that you take a couple of days and go back through all of these again.  Of course we still are not done, as there are 24 sections.  When you go through these lessons again, be sure and read the scriptures first and take notes of high lights that sticks into your mind.  Then listen and be amazed as Bill has been on how you will still see things you never saw before throgh the eyes of this teacher. Some things the teacher has taken some creative license with but it is based on geopgraphy, other historical writings from that time, and his belief that the bible is the inspired word of GOD.  It blows the mind to realize that for the most part Paul was more educated in writing style and just about anything else then anybody we have probably met in our life.  We see the apostle Paul in a different way then we have ever been able to do before through just biblical church teaching.  Our teacher is a college professor that teaches bible as a life long work at one of the top educational universities in the country. Bill calls California the land of fruits and nuts as a play on words.  For sure the creative thinking from leadership in that part of the country is falling far away from the teachings of the bible. So clearly the right place for this teacher to add balance for young minds.  Our entire country has strayed away from the teachings in the bible on how Jesus wants his bride to live. We appreciate all of the feedback to these lessons.  Blog Talk mom for sure helps make these shows great.  We appreciate her input and knowledge even when she gets stuck in the Psalms.  If you are a first timer, you just have to go back and listen to past shows to get the inside joke.  She is a jewel and we are blessed with  what she adds to this show. We are not sure there would be a show without her!
