Yesterday was Veterans Day.  This show tonight is our  tribute to those brave men and women who serve.  Wild Bill's dad served in Korea, and my dad served in Vietnam.  I have a sister, brothers, and a brother in law that served.  Wild Bill served and his son served an extended tour in Iraq at the beginning of the conflict after 911.  He then volunteered for a second tour.  He suffers from PTSD and brain trauma from a mortar attack.  We did a two part show where we had the family share the issues of a returning solder and the effect it has on family when they are damaged.  Many come home changed.  Other give the ultimate sacrifice and come home in a flag covered box.  Tonight this tribute is also for law enforcement officers, fire fighters, EMTs, secret service and anyone who has dedicated their life to public service.  For those in the life you know the pressures these jobs bring to the family.  The comradeship between all of these people who stand in the gap for others is the same when you are up against the wall!  The job has a task but to the men and women it is all about each other!  We should all count our blessings that we still have men and women who are willing to stand in the gap for others!  One last thought.  We used to sing a song in church, "God's got an army!"  In listening to this show tonight ask yourself this one question.  How does your commitment to God compare to what you are hearing tonight?  Are you really a committed solder for God?  As we play our tribute song we ask that you take this time to pray a sincere prayer for those that serve.
