WRSP Radio presents the 10th episode of the second year of Weekend Sports Huddle with co-hosts Tom Pollin, Hunter Hodies and producer Dave Holcomb.

For today's show, we start outside the cities of Pittsburgh and Chicago to discuss Miami Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton, who is on an absolutely incredible home run tear. Stanton leads the league with 44 home runs and is on pace to become the first player to reach 60 home runs since the end of the steroid era.

This week, Stanton said he considers the Home run record to still be the 61 Roger Maris hit in 1961. Our hosts debate whether that should still be the record and how Stanton will be percieved if he reaches HR No. 62.

Our hosts will also update the NL Central race, where the Chicago Cubs must now find a way to navigate the end of August without Jon Lester. Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Pirates are sinking fast, having lost six straight since our last episode.

Finally, we will also return to our Josh Rosen conversation from last week and discuss what the UCLA quarterback had to say about college athletics and secondary education and the reaction to his comments last week.
