WRSP presents the fourth weekly episode of the Weekend Sports Huddle with co-hosts Tom Pollin and Dave Holcomb. The Pirates have been the Cubs' whipping boys ever since the NL Wild Card Game last October. Chicago entered this weekend's series winning nine of the last 10 versus Pittsburgh dating back to September, but the winds in the NL Central may be changing. After Friday's 8-4 Pirates victory, the Pirates have won 11 of 14 while the Cubs have been in a complete nose dive, losing eight of nine and 14 of the last 19 games.

Tom & Dave debate what's wrong with the Cubs and wonder whether the Pirates can truly challenge Chicago in the NL Central.

Despite the recent struggles, the Cubs will be well represented at the MLB All-Star Game in San Diego next week. If Dexter Fowler is healthy and Jake Arrieta starts, six Cubs will be in the starting lineup. Our hosts go over their thoughts on All-Star week, including the lineups, All-Star snubs and the home run derby.

For about the final half hour, Tom & Dave will discuss NBA free agency. There was big news in Chicago, as the Bulls signed Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo to fill out a star-studded roster. But the really big news broke last on Independence Day when Kevin Durant announced he was headed to Golden State. Is Durant cheating his way to a championship like Charles Barkley suggested on ESPN's Mike and Mike this past week? Our hosts share their opinions on this latest super star leaving a contender to create a super team.
