Jeremiah 18: 1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, 2 Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.

God wanted Jeremiah to understand the lesson He was about to teach Him, so He sent Him to the potter’s house to see what a potter do with clay.  The first thing the Potter does is place the clay on the wheels.  Once we accept Christ as our Savior, we then become His children. We enter the positional process of sanctification, placed on the wheel, in position to receive all that God has for us. Then the molding and shaping began to get us into our intended purpose and His expected end.  Jeremiah 29:11-12 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.  This is the progression process of our sanctification.
