“God expects a return on His investment”  Matthew 25:13-30An investment is an asset or item that is purchased with the hope that it will generate income or appreciate in the future. In an economic sense, an investment is the purchase of goods that are not consumed today but are used in the future to create wealth. In finance, an investment is a monetary asset purchased with the idea that the asset will provide income in the future or appreciate and be sold at a higher price.  In the biblical sense God looks at you as an asset and once we accept His Son as our personal Savior, we are purchased 1 Corinthians 6:20 says you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. We were created to give God Glory, honor and prices and that’s how He received a return on His investment. That cost was paid with the blood of Jesus.  God initial deposit Grace which is all His riches at Jesus Christ expense.  God invested in us to be used for His Glory.  Everyone is created for the common good and each one of us is responsible to add to kingdom building in one form or another.  Doing the will of God by serving and loving one another is a return on God investment.  Realizing God as our creator, Jesus as our Savior and the Holy Spirit as our comforter and guide will insure our working toward giving God the praise, honor and glory that He deserves.  Everything God has given unto us our time, talents, gifts and resources are to be used until  Jesus comes back.  At the time He will want to what have you done with what He has given you, and yes He will be looking for a return on His investment.
