"How to dress for spiritual success" Ephesians 6:13-20   Put on the whole armor of God

Ephesians 6:10-20

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole amour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.13 Wherefore take unto you the whole amour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

This verse starts off with finally, which means from now on or henceforth letting us know that we have to be strong not in our own power because we are inadequate, but in the Lord and the power of His might. These verses are letting us know that there is an ongoing battle, an all-out war a spiritual battle and Christians will be engaged in it and it will exist from now on until Jesus return.  This war has no time outs, no quarter, no cease-fire, no temporary truce, no vacations, and you are not afforded the opportunity to say hold up wait a minutes.  It goes on to tell you How to dress for spiritual success by putting on which is a sign of urgency, the whole armor of God which consist of 6 pieces, then stand not idle but gutting ready for the enemy the devil.
