“Kingdom living, here on earth"  2 Peter 1:1-10

We are in the world but not of this world, we are only passing through, this earth is not our home

2 Peter-3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

This scripture says according as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness and you can only obtain it through the knowledge of Him that hath called us. The power to grow doesn’t come from within us, but from God.  Because we don’t have the resources to be truly godly, God allows us to participate in His divine nature, which is His characteristics, His attributes, His qualities and He has extended His righteousness towards us through Christ Jesus.  Christians are now responsible to draw upon these provisions in order to build a godly character in an ungodly world.  You might say that you trust God, but you can’t truly trust someone you don’t know.  God has given us His Word, but we must put in the work to grow. There is no way humanly possible to know God without studying His Word.  The Word of God is where He allows us to know Him.

Come and join us as we explore the Word of God together in the comfort of your home.  Everyone is welcome!
