What's done in the dark will come to the light

Nathan was prophet and it his job to confront sin, even if the sin was committee by the King.  Nathan had to use wisdom, courage, and great tact to speak to David in a way that would make him aware of his wrong actions. Many times we over look our sins because it’s easy to see the sins of other. When we confront other we must go in love, a spirit of encouragement, and use wisdom and we can only do that when we remember when.

David was appalled to hear what had happened. He took it at face value that something wrong, unfair and unjust had been done.  He immediately judged the situation. How easy it is to see the sins of other without applying the scriptural standards to ourselves. Matthew 7:3-5 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s
