"Allow Jesus to lead and you follow" Psalm 23

Jesus is our Good Shepherd and we are His sheep.

David is describing the Lord as a shepherd, he wrote out of his own experience because he had spent his early years caring for sheep. Remember the bible was written by man but inspired by God. God inspired David to use the analogy of a shepherd and his sheep to write the 23 Psalm and he knew that David would be able to express, describe, and write a correct illustration of the relationship between a shepherd and his sheep in great details.   Psalm 23 is the most read, quoted, memorized, and though after passages of scripture.  God never ask us to do things that he knew we would not able to do, or accomplish.  God uses things in the natural to explain the spiritual, so that we can get a good understand of what he wants to reveal to us. Here God is using the analogy of a shepherd and his sheep, an analogy is a comparison based on similarities; it shows likeness between people, places or things.

Come and join us in the comfort of your home as we wxplore the Word of God together.
